“The essential purpose of astrology is not so much to tell us what we will meet on our road, as it is to suggest how to meet it – and the basic reason for the meeting; which quality in us, which type of strength is needed to go through any specific phase of our total unfoldment as an individual person.” --Dane Rudhyar
I am an astrological intuitive, metaphysical practitioner, and student of Astrology, I Ching, and Tarot since the conjunction of Uranus and Pluto in the 1960’s. Astrology is all about how we are connected to the world around us--perceptions often blurred by familiarity and personal belief--and it is about our connection to our authentic inner world that is often hidden from us. The practice of Astrology is not about taking some “cookbook” interpretation of who you are and overlaying it on you. The best astrology, in my humble opinion, is about looking at the actual context of how a particular life has unfolded, and through the examination of the birth chart, reveal not the just events that are already known, consciously or subconsciously, but more importantly why those events occurred.
My work draws from 50 years of astrological and metaphysical study, and 70 years of life experience. My readings draw upon my intuitive ability, (something that I believe we all can develop) to understand the
core archetypes of your birth chart in the context of your life, and how they mirror how your life has unfolded. You already know the whats of your life. Evolutionary Astrology can tell you why.
My core astrological training has been through the work and teaching of Jeffrey Wolf Green and the JWG School of Evolutionary Astrology. My work embraces mythology, Kabbalah, archetypal astrology, and astronomy and stems from the wriitngs of Dane Rudyhar.. My Evolutionary Astrology work derives directly from the work of Rose Marcus, Patricia Walsh, Laura Nalbandian, Deva Green, Kim Marie Weiner, Kristin Fontana, Mark Jones, Gray Crawford, and especially Jason Holley who has been my friend and mentor these past few years. The work of Liz Greene, Howard Sasportas, Rick Tarnas, Brian Clark, Austin Coppock, Demetra George, round out my astrological perspective.
Throughout the 1980's, I was actively committed to the development of the emerging on-line New Age communities, and the sharing of these ancient sciences in new virtual world of cyberspace. As a CompuServe sysop, I met, interacted, studied, and facilitated workshops with a diversity of authors, Native American elders, intuitives, lucid dreamers, UFO-logists, shamans,Wiccans, Seth readers, tarot readers, and of course other astrologers. I have participated in a long term study group reading the work of Jane Roberts, author of The Seth Material, and another studying the work and practice of George Gurdjieff. I am an initiate in the practice Surat Shabd Yoga in the Sant Mat tradition of the Radha Soami Society.
I have been published in the "Journal of Evolutionary Astrology", the ISAR Journal Newsletter, the Santa Fe New Mexican, and numerous websites.
