William BLAKE "Ancient of Days"
A Call for Unity:
Aries Lunar Eclipse
A Lunar Eclipse is a powerfully magnified full moon. Monthly lunations set the tone for the current lunar cycle every 29.5 days. Eclipses set the tone for the following 6 months. The eclipse on September 27th or 28th, depending on where you are, will be a total eclipse in the US, Canada, Central and South America, amplifying the event.
Remember, this is not an isolated, static event. We are looking at a cycle, in this case between the Sun, Moon, and Earth. Because our perspective is geocentric, the Earth is only revealed in its shadow. The full moon is the point of the Moon’s greatest illumination, her face fully reflective of the Sun. The light is balanced from day to night. The energy has moved from its center of gravity as far as it can. Equilibrium is needed. Wherever there has been resistance to evolutionary intention, circumstances show up seeking resolution. The nature of the challenge is relative to whether, at the seed-moment, new moon solar eclipse that occurred 2 weeks earlier on September 13th, “Did we respond or did we react?” “Was our response considered, or was it ‘knee-jerk’ habitual?” The crisis is always relative to the resistance to the evolutionary intention inherent in the crisis.
The lunar eclipse at 5° Aries balances a powerfully activated Aries-Libra axis. [The Moon closely conjuncts asteroid Vesta and the Lunar South Node in Aries, and opposes the Sun, Mercury, asteroid Juno, and mythical Lilith, and the Lunar North Node, in Libra. Jupiter in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces, and both are squaring Saturn in Sagittarius. Mars begins a 6-week conjunction with Jupiter in Virgo and squares Saturn during the first 2 weeks of October. The lunar nodes are stationed, poised to exit the Aries-Libra axis. Uranus adds sesquiquadrate tensions to both Mars and Saturn. Jupiter trines Pluto, now moving direct again.]
As the Luminaries align with the Earth, the Moon basks in a golden glow of love and the attraction to the Sun. A moment later, the shadow of the Earth veils the Moon’s brightness, just as what we have constructed around us, what we call our “lives”, has curtained off our connection to Source. Paulo Coelho said, “If you are never alone, you cannot know yourself.” In the darkness we learn finally learn that we are not alone.
The Full Moon brings ego to the forefront, and closer to our instinctual, often habitual and impulsive self, and its core authenticity. Our personal contracts, the contracts we have made with ourselves, and the contracts we have made with others are brought to our attention.
Saturn, the Lord of Time has marked the tempo of the current decade. We have witnessed a global page turning, as Uranus and Pluto, energetically ground together, like millstones, 7 times over the last 3 years. Saturn is the ruler of Pluto in Capricorn. Saturn has moved from subterranean Scorpio into adventurous Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter in Virgo. Sagittarius is the quest for the truth. We become identified with these truths and they become our belief system, which we elaborately construct to support our self-image. These personal beliefs are expressed collectively as religion, politics, and philosophy. The Sagittarius experiential adventure drives us to explore other places, cultures, philosophies, and convictions as contrast to our own.
All of our truths will come under close scrutiny. What we believed to be gospel will burn as heresy. What was considered heresy will be illuminated as truth. What we are searching for is not just for the truth, but for the Truth with a capital T, the Ultimate Truth. Feet will be held to the fire about the truth between belief and our practice. This current series of unfolding planetary cycles will dominate the next year and a half. We can expect there to be disillusionment as people who we held in great regard fall from their pedestals, and ideas that we held as sacred turn out to be untrue. The intention is to build a new framework by creating new dreams, and allowing new visions; to re-image and re-imagine our selves and world. We will be shown the current limits of our beliefs and visions forcing us to reconstruct our foundations from a new vision.
Our intuition is facilitated and ideas come to us and bringing the promise of new technologies, inspirations and practical solutions. A Pope brings his illuminated presence to the US Capitol sharply contrasting the centuries of American political distortion. A POTUS candidate appears that holds the authenticity of of John Kennedy’s courage and Harry Truman’s honesty.
The current energetic matrix prescribes a cycle where we plumb the depths of our psyches and our hearts to mine the images that contain the highest good for ourselves and for the planet, to let go of what now longer serves us and to build a new foundation from our collective imagination. The work is the synthesis between dream and reality.
"The common home of all men and women must continue to rise on the foundations of a right understanding of universal fraternity and respect for the sacredness of every human life, of every man and every woman, the poor, the elderly, children, the infirm, the unborn, the unemployed, the abandoned, those considered disposable because they are only considered as part of a statistic."
– Pope Francis
